This morning sucked.

I woke up early so that I could post this today before class (I don't have internet).

Problem: I forgot my bike lock.
Solution: Pedal back to my house (29th & fillmore)

So here I am posting in class.

Explorations went relatively well, but as you guys probably all realized, it's damn hard to separate its meaning from its formal qualities or its function in reality.

I ended up narrowing my sounds down to:

Birds Chirping
Crowd Cheering
Rain and Thunder

Some things that I noticed that might help you guys too were:

Mass
Pitch/Frequency
Rhythm
Shape of the sound
Contrast/Intensity
Hierarchy
